  Performance

  Keginator is the highest performing, most efficient cooling kegerator keg fridge in on the market. Its superior insulation and design make it the best choice for budget concious customer who want a kegerator build to last. It will outperform any other kegerator of similar size even in hot climates.

  Condensing Lines

  One of the most efficient way to dissipate heat is airflow similar to how computers need fans to cool down or how most houses in our nation use fans to cool down during out hot summers.  By having the condensing lines on the outside of the unit, we are allowing the kegerator to dissipate heat much more efficiently with increased airflow all around the condenser. Air circulation will easily carry away the heat. There are no restrictions of heat being trapped inside the insulation of the walls or heat feeding back inside the fridge like other models do. This design will make your fridge draw less power less often and work less hard, thus increasing its longevity.

  Coolant

  Boasting with its 40g of R600a premium coolant, Keginator has an increased coolant capacity of 30% compared to most kegerators on the market from the older generations (Series 4, Series X). R600a, also known as isobutane, is a hydrocarbon refrigerant used in modern appliances like kegerators and fridges. It’s highly energy-efficient, has low global warming potential (GWP), and operates quietly. Despite being flammable, it’s safe in small quantities and is widely adopted as a greener alternative to older refrigerants.

  For every unit of power ingested by the compressor, it generates 1.85 units of cooling. Compared to similar models of kegerators currently using smaller, less powerful and less energy efficient compressors generating 1.25 units of cooling per 1 unit of power ingested, that is a 33% increase in efficiency!

  Power usage

  During testing, Keginator used 1.01 kWh of power to cool down a 20L keg of water vs 1.33 kWh used by similar models available on the market.

  Keginator’s superior design, condensing lines on the outside for increased heat dissipation, superior compressor, superior cooling power, renders the entire unit the most energy efficient kegerator on the market. Once again, this reflects a 30% cost saving by using Keginator over any other brands of simular sizes, not including Kegmaster Premium.

  Insulation

  Cyclopentane-blown polyurethane foam has very low thermal conductivity (typically ~0.020–0.025 W/m·K), which makes it excellent at keeping temperatures stable — ideal for kegerators, fridges, and freezers. Cyclopentane replaces ozone-depleting substances like CFCs or HCFCs and has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and very low global warming potential (GWP) compared to older agents. Cyclopentane is the industry standard for refrigerators and kegerators from brands like Samsung, LG, Bosch etc.

  Installation

  Similarly to our Kegmaster Premium, Keginator can easily be built under counter or in cabinetry with vents. Dissipating heat at the back and not on the sides means you have the most flexible unit currently on the market which can be built flush on each side or even drilled into them for increased flexibility.

*It is recommended to have your Keginator elevated from the floor, in case any moisture settles under it, the spacing will help dissipate it.

Recommended Setback:

Our Keginator needs good airflow to help it achieve optimum cooling power. The ideal setback, or spacing, is as per below (when facing the fridge):

• No setback required on the sides
• No setback required at the back, though we suggest 5-10cm for good airflow circulation
• No setback required on the top, can be installed flush to a counter top
• No setback required underneath*
• No setback at the front
• Can not be enclosed into a cabinet, it must have vents

*It is recommended to have your Keginator elevated from the floor, in case any moisture settles under it, the spacing will help dissipate it.

Setting the Calibration Factor on the Keginator:

If your kegerator is freezing the chill plate on the inside with a thick layer or ice, it is recommended to set the calibration at -3 and see if the situation improves.

If the Keginator™ is not cold enough, it is recommended to set it to +2 and see it the situation improves.

1. Press and hold both the “Cooler” and “Warmer” buttons for 5 seconds until the temperature display flashes SC.
2. Release those buttons and press the “°F/°C” button.
3. The display now shows the calibration factor, and you can change it with the “Cooler” and “Warmer” buttons.
4. Once it is at the desired value press the “°F/°C” button again to save it.

Our Co2 bottles come in 2 different sizes. The 2.6kg can dispense up to 400 litres of beer and the 6kg can dispense up to 1000L.

We have a refill system in place in our retail store. For a 2.6kg refill it is $35.00, for a 6kg cylinder refill is $60. Simply bring your empty cylinder into the store and we will refill it for you on a Wednesday between 10am and 12pm each week. You are welcome to leave you bottle with us until Wednesday when we do the refill’s.

• Keg Couplers

We have A and D type couplers available. The A type coupler is commonly referred to as the “Slide On Coupler” or “German Slider”. Suitable for attaching Tooheys, Coopers, XXXX and most Craft Breweries kegs. The D type coupler commonly referred to as the “Twist On Coupler”. Suitable for attaching Carlton Draught, CUB, Fosters & VB Kegs.

• 19L Stainless Keg

These premium brand new kegs are rated to 130psi working pressure and are made using a robotic orbital welding machine. The finish on these kegs are far superior to our other economy stainless steel kegs and are made with super smooth welds making them sanitary and easier to clean.

• 10L and 20L PET

If you love Cornelius Ball Lock Kegs, but hate paying Cornelius prices, check out the 10L & 20L Ball Lock King Kegs! 20L Ball Lock King Kegs are slightly wider (2.6cm) than a standard Cornelius variety keg and hold 20 litres instead of just 19. The integrated handles, make carrying easy and Ball Lock King Kegs work exactly like corny kegs with ball lock disconnects.

• Brewery Cleaner

StellarClean PBW (Powful Brewery Wash/ Brewery Cleaner) is a buffered alkaline detergent that has been proven to be more than an effective substitute for caustic soda cleaners. Because of its unique formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on skin as well as soft metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and on plastics.

• StellarSan Sanitizer

This StellarSan Sanitiser is completely food grade and non-rinse. The formulation is highly concentrated and will make over 500Litres when diluted. You can also re-use the sanitiser over and over again making it even more cost effective.
